Um, that sign scares me. More that it is up and people see it than anything else. Is it saying that all one has to do is attend church to 'escape the devil'? Isn't that false advertising?

Yeah, it would be interesting to have a cup of coffee with the owner of that sign/land. I would love learn of their upbringing, their theology, and the motivation behind that sign. I have my own preconceived notions of who they are and why they did it, but still, it would be interesting.
Yeah, a horrible sign. But not surprising. We've seen/heard worst things growing up in the Bible Belt. Scary what religion does to people. (Wonderful what following Christ does to people.)
