Random Thought (Fact) of the Day

I once threw a hammer at my older brother while he was swimming. He kept dunking me under the water and I really didn't like that.

2 followup facts from the above fact:

1. Remember what a switchin' was? That was my punishment from Momma.
2. I'm a lot closer to my brothers now. I have a theory that going away to college and being separated does ya some good.

So, what's the worst thing you've ever done to your brother/sister? Feel free to comment.

I could so flood your inbox with some tales that would make you think boys with hammers were tame. Ask about it the next time your home. My house was a veritable zoo...

Yes, you did indeed! I'm still bitter....ha, just kidding.

To further explain the incident, so everyone can picture the torture I experienced:

Imagine jumping on someone's back, someone twice your size. And then imagine that person deciding they would fall back on to a bed as hard as they could, so as to crush you. Then imagine that in mid air you let go so you can brace yourself for the impact. THEN IMAGINE that your hands go up to catch this beast (I mean person) and one hand makes it up in time but the other hand/arm gets caught - wrist down - and all the weight of that person crushes your arm, breaking it in 2 places and almost having the bones stick out of your skin.

I wish I could remember some details though.

Well, I didn't do this to my brother, he did it to me. I had to sweep the kitchen floor and then get Mama to inspect it. When we'd come back into the kitchen, you would hear a crunch as you walked. Therefore, I had to sweep it again. When I was over 20-years-old, I found out my brother had been pouring sugar on the floor to make a noise so I'd have to sweep it again. Since I was the only girl, and the baby, Dennis (yes, the menace) decided it was his mantra to make me miserable and he did.
